My name is Sarah and today my friends and I are going to tell you about Babylon.Do you know what time old Babylon was formed?It was formed in about 1750 B.C………The man who ruled over part of Babylon’s rein was called Hammerabi. Well enough about Hammerabi, Emma will tell you about him later. Ancient Babylon was know forstarting a war. They won all their wars by shutting down their enemies water so they would be weak and would not be hard to fight.
Emma: Hi my name is Emma I will talk about King Hammurabi. My friend Olivia will be talking about King Hammurabi’s laws. King Hammurabi was the first person to create a set of laws. He also combined the city-states though war. He won by cutting off water supplies so that they would either die with no water or give up.
Olivia: Hammurabi’s code was a set of laws created by King Hammurabi. Hammurabi’s code was a very mean and violent set of laws.One of his codes was, if you slapped your own father you would get your own hand cut off!!!! That’s one violent law! Erika and Ally will be talking aboutNew Babylon!......
